sex_machina

“sex_machina” is an outdoor concert and festival where virtual assistants read sexual material to attendees – silent disco-style.  This festival lies at the intersection of technology, innovation, and Dadaism, the post-World War I art movement embracing nonsense and irrationality. sex_machina will take place in Golden Gate Park for the people of San Francisco and Silicon Valley, more importantly, people who feel alone on Valentine’s Day. Guests can also enjoy the performances from private tents provided on-site.

Branding for sex_machina leans heavily into collage, evoking the visual tradition of the Dada movement in a technocentric future. Drawing from Dadaism’s interrogation of humanity’s relationship with machines, sex_machina comments on how much we have integrated technology into our lives, even going as far as to let it inform our desires.

Your invite? A condom. Special tents for tire 1 guests, with adequate tissues, lotion, electrolytes, hand sanitizer, and your own personal headphones.
Alexa? Siri? Cortana? Gemini? Pick your bot. We’re here to take pleasure to a whole new level.
